I want to protect a small plastic object by encapsulating it in a cube of clear resin for archiving. How long will clear casting resin last? Will it start to degrade after 50 years or so or will it last for thousands?How long will something cast in clear resin last?
If it is mixed properly, and sets well, it would last about a hundred years I beleive, if kept out of the direct sunlight and harsh conditions.How long will something cast in clear resin last?
It should last indefinitely, especially if you keep it out of the elements.
